Ivan Bautistaの版画作品の新入荷です。

普段から木版だけではなくリトグラフや銅版にも意欲的に取り組み
自身の体の半分以上ある大きな作品を制作していることが多いイヴァン。

こちらはガイコツの姿をしたディアブロ(=悪魔)と天使のシリーズ。

天使がディアブロを抱えています。

天国に連れて行く途中かもしれませんが、悪魔は天国への立ち入りを許されるのでしょうか…。

想像力を掻き立てられる作品です。

(Ivan Bautista)

Born in Oaxaca in 1987. He graduated from UABJO Oaxaca Art University.
He has exhibited around the world and was selected
for the 9th Kochi International Triennale in 2005.
He mainly uses humans as a motif and is modeled on people close to person.
He currently belongs to Burro Press with Edith Chavez and Alberto Cruz
and launched MINI PRINT in 2020.
