今年の１月末から地下ギャラリーで開催していた【オアハカのグラバドーレス】でも展示販売を行っていた作家のうちの一人、
Cesar Chavezの版画作品の新入荷です。

今回新入荷の作品として、ポストカードサイズよりも小さいミニプリントを送ってくれたセサル。
彼らしいモチーフが小さい画面に散りばめられており、
何枚も集めたくなってしまいそうです。

彼は生きているもの（動物）やメキシコの文化などのポジティブな面をテーマとして描くのと同時に
死や恐怖といった人間のネガティブな面も描くことをやってきました。

こちらの作品はロバと葉っぱをモチーフにした作品。
ロバの表情が可愛らしい一枚です。

Born in 1979.
Graduated from UABJO (University of Benito Juarez, Oaxaca) in 2005.
He holds exhibitions not only in Mexico but also in Spain and Japan.
He often depicts the theme of human death, loneliness, and anxiety.
In this exhibition, we have collected works with motifs such as masks
that often appear along with the above themes.
